The largest showcase of contemporary African art in the world, the museum is constructed from a converted historic grain silo, with the imposing interior having been carved out to create several galleries and a breathtaking central atrium.

Late morning: Cycle on the Promenade

Once you’ve topped up on culture, it’s time to explore Cape Town’s legengary great outdoors, and soak up the summer sunshine. Rent a bicycle from Up Cycles and enjoy a relaxing ride from the Sea Point Promenade along the Atlantic Seaboard, taking in the breathtaking surrounds.

Afternoon: Cable car to Table Mountain

End your day with a cable car trip to the top of Table Mountain, where you can soak up the 360 degree views of the city. The iconic landmark of the city is a must-visit, and it’s advisable to book in advance during the busy season. For an extra special experience, summit the mountain at sunset with a bottle of bubbly, and marvel at one of the city’s legendary technicolour sunsets.
